Local Interest:
At the land end of our cobblestone way is Water Street, which offers a variety of shops for your every need. All of it is within walking distance in the appealing village of Woods Hole.
Provisions:
Woods Hole Market is a small convenience store that sells groceries, deli items, ice, and take-out food.
Services:
U.S. Post Office located at the end of Water Street. It's open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Fleet Bank/Bank of America on the corner of Water Street and ????. It has an ATM.
Attractions:
Woods Hole Oceanographic Exhibit Center off Water Street on School Street; free admission. The center is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in summer. WHOI also offers walking tours of the village, but you must call 508-289-2252 to make reservations.
National Fisheries Aquarium on Albatross Street-this place is a wonderful adventure for all ages! It's open to the public free of charge and offers a fun "touch tank" of sea life. The center is closed on federal holidays but is otherwise open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed weekends in the off-season). Don't miss the daily
seal feeding!

Woods Hole presents a variety of restaurants, especially for such a small place.
Shuckers Raw Bar is conveniently located right on the dock of Woods Hole Marine. The friendly staff will take care of you, and your dinner will taste extra good with the accompaniment of live music-every night! 508-540-3850
If you walk up our cobblestone way and take a left, you'll find The Capt. Kidd/Waterfront Dining just two doors up on Water Street. Capt. Kidd offers either casual or elegant dining in a one-of-a-kind nautical setting; you may be seated at a candle-lit table eating a festively-presented entrée, or you'll pull up a chair at an old beer barrel for pub grub! 508-548-8563
